Chemicals:
Carcinogen antimony found in fruit juices - A chemical, antimony, linked to cancer has been found in fruit juices and cordials drunk by millions of people every day. The Royal Society of Chemistry, which published the research, added that as most fruit squashes are aimed at children, they are more at risk from the substance. It has been suggested that the substance is finding its way into the drinks from the PET plastic bottles they are contained in, with citric acid in the drinks speeding up the leaching process. Of particular concern is antimony trioxide, a suspected carcinogen that is used in the production of PET.

Coca tea – a 100% natural caffeine-free tea, very high in nutrients and one of my favourites! This pleasant tasting tea revitalises, restores and energises. It balances mood, curbs appetite, is detoxifying and helps digestive processes. The coca plant is native to the Peruvian Rainforest and has been fundamental to the culture and traditions of the Andean people for thousands of years.

The tea is imported by Cocazone and tel number 0861COCAZONE. If it is not available at your local health shop, ask that they stock it! Maybe this tea reveals something about my 'wild and adventurous' side ...
