Adults: 1 – 3 capsules per day with food
This is the same as See Yourself Well™ Omega-3, but it is in Ethyl Ester Form. Most of the omega-3 supplements on the mass market are in the Ethyl Ester Form (EE). Introduced in 2008, Life Support Omega-3 features patented Clear Enteric Coating technology that prevents the fish oil capsules from being digested in the stomach, which has been known to cause a fish flavoured aftertaste or reflux.
Life Support capsules stay intact for a minimum of 60 minutes in gastric fluids, and no more than 15 minutes in the small intestine, ensuring the fish oil is released within the intestine, eliminating reflux and undesirable aftertaste.
Life support Omega-3 capsules are highly concentrated (EE/Ethyl Ester) fish oil, containing 400 mg of EPA and 200 mg of DHA form per 1000 mg capsule for a sum total of 600 mg of Omega 3 per capsule, free of PCB's, mercury, dioxins and furans, often present in related Omega 3 enriched products.
