Fruit kebabs can be served at breakfast, at a finger lunch, a barbeque or a cocktail party.
serves 4
1 paw-paw, peeled and diced into large blocks
freshly-squeezed lemon juice
3 small bananas
12 strawberries, washed, tops removed
12 wooden skewers
1. Squeeze lemon juice over the paw-paw to enhance its flavour.
2. Peel the banana, and cut into 4.
3. Place a cube of paw-paw on a skewer, followed by a piece of banana and a strawberry – 3 pieces of fruit per skewer. Arrange the kebabs on a serving platter.
Variation
Any fruit in season can be used such as melon, grapes, pineapple or kiwi fruit.
